I absolutely LOVE these images and how they stamped, so I tried two different things.  First, I stamped in various colors for which I have marker sets.  I then cut them out to use on my frame.

But, because I love how this stamps all by iteslf, I chose to do a very simple card with two colors in purples!

I must admit, I’m not much for Valentine’s Day (Hubby and I are nice to each other all the time :) ), but I do love hearts and love :)    These stamps really inspired me and I love the colors in the paper pack.

I cut some hearts in various sizes about 1/4 inch more than the indicated size on the stamp using Artiste.  I stamped them all using Vineyard Berry and the three heart stamps.  I also chose a stamp to make the background on the first card in Hollyhock.

For these last two I just played with the stamps and ended up with two more fun cards!

I also decided I’d do soemthing a little different on the treat tubes so I created a ‘heart ‘like shape and turned them sideways!  I used the fabulous glitter paper to cut the hearts on the ends and the LOVE out of Artiste – it cut really easily even though it is quite thick!

CTMH December Stamp of the Month

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  This month we have almost 60 participants in the blog hop!   We will be featuring December’s SOTM, which is Year Round Cheer, a 12 stamp set that has something for every month of the year!   This stamp set is available for $5 with any $50 purchase!  If you have come here from Beth’s Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants here.

Using Cricut Artiste I cut the embellishments to stamp each of the months’ images.  I used 5 1/2 x 4 cards and selected coordinating paper to go with the image.  Hard to tell but each of the stamped pieces is added with pop dots for dimension.  Some additional embellishments and voila!

For the inking on the edges, I used CTMH markers – so easy and controlled!

CTMH Advent Calendar without the kit

I fell in love with this when I saw it, but I’ll admit – with all of the fun new products I was purchasing, I was too cheap to fork out the money for the whole kit.  So I bought the My Creations® Cubby for the calendar and it sat in my craft room for months.

I finally got inspired last week to make the calendar.  It was so easy!  I had this clearance fun paper from somewhere so I used that! I simply cut the box that is on page 80 of the Artiste guide at 2.5 inches and made 25 of them (13 red and 12 green).   They were a cinch to assemble too!

I then cut the ‘circle’ from page 35 accent 3 and cut 25 at 2″  in silver.   Then I cut the numbers in the alternating color of the drawer (green for odd, red for even) at 1 3/4 all from Artiste!

A little glue and voila!  A really amazing and simple advent calendar.  My son can’t wait to see what I put in it for him :)

You can purchase My Creations® Cubby for the calendar if you click here .  Cost is 16.95 for the cubby.

I am offering a Thanksgiving special until Sunday only – 10% off your total purchase AND FREE SHIPPING!!!!!!  That’s a savings of 7.95 minimum on any size order.  Email me at mariamyers222@gmail. com to place your order so I can provide the discounts.

Thanks for looking and happy thanksgiving!

Cupcake Socks!

I always wanted to try this but anything kitchen related – not really for me.  But now that I have my Artiste cartridge I can choose from so many cupcake wrappers.   Not much use in my kitchen for actual cupcakes so…cupcake socks are going into some fun Christmas presents I am making.

I used the Accent 3 on page 73 of the Artiste Book to make this very simple cupcake holder

The socks were $3 from Five Below.  I cut the cupcake wrapper at 2 3/4 inches (largest it allowed).  I turned the bottomo sock inside out and flipped over the top. Then I tucked up the toe part into it underneath to make a bowl.  I rolled the second sock to look like a cupcake and put it into the sock bowl.  Then I connected the wrapper and set it in and voila!

So easy!

Order Cricut Artiste and get 10% off your order.  Or are you a new customer – that will also get you 10% off your order.  Don’t forget about this months’ special – if you spend $50 you get the stamp of the month AND can choose a stamp set at 50% off (and then that 10% of mine on top!).

CTMH November Stamp of the Month

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  This month we have almost 70 participants in the blog hop!   We will be featuring November’s SOTM, which is Capture the Date, a 72 stamp set that has many options for date stamping!   This stamp set is available for $5 with any $50 purchase!  If you have come here from Jill’s Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants here.

I decided to modify some ideas I’ve seen on Pinterest and use this stamp set to do it.  The black printing is just from the computer printed onto a cut down sheet from Dotty for You.  Sorry the pic is not the clearest – I had to use my phone :(

I used the stamp set to create the dates on each strip of white textured cardstock.  I went for the disjointed look by using different numbers from the set for the day and the year and not worrying too much if it was a little off center.  I think that’s what gives it character.

Now hop on over to Pamela’s blog to see what amazing creations she has!

Christmas Gift Card Holder

My husband has recently taken up smoking these little cigars.  They come in a cute little box.  So I told him to save me the boxes and while I was working on some Christmas cards this past weekend I decided to turn one into a gift card holder!

I used the scrap papers and stamp set from the Pear & Partridge Card Workshop on the go Kit!

This is the box before:

And here it is when I was done embellishing it!
